Had an opportunity to shoot an event the other day for a brand new magazine focusing on Louisiana's entertainment industry, called "Scene Magazine". It was quite the swanky affair at the W hotel, and the lighting and decoration made it fun to shoot in there.

Had a great day to shoot with these two, in my favorite neighborhood :) They're having a beach wedding next June, which I am REALLY looking forward to. Hey, if it's gonna be June, and on the Gulf Coast, lets do it at the beach, right?

Friday, October 16, 2009 at 9:36PM We had a great time with these two, on a HOT and muggy New Orleans night. The reception venue is a really cool building - the McKenna Museum of African American Art. One of those fun/crazy times to try and get some photographs on a crowded dance floor, with the second-line band tearing it up. For the rest of the photos, follow this link

We had a nice time with this shoot. The church, St. Francis, was pretty well lit for a church, and it was a very touching ceremony. Incredible vocal performance by some of Claire's bridesmaids (who just happen to be singers), and a funny but inspiring sermon. The reception was at St. Louis Hotel, in the French Quarter - the first shoot I've done there. It was pretty warm, but the tropical plants and christmas lights made for some nice shots. I was pretty happy with some of the portraits we got, particularly the ones I shot on the balcony. Here are a few, see the link at the bottom for more.
